ACTIONS
Activities in "Intercultural Academy of Openness" will focus on needs and dreams which have participants from Poland, Malta, Georgia and Armenia. Individual needs and dreams which have this young people we will compare to this needs and dreams which have their countries – society. By different age, origin, inhabitancy and culture/religion we will can compare for instance need and dreams of high school students to need and dreams of students.

Let also look on psychological issue. In realization this individual tasks we will use Pyramid of needs invented by Abraham Maslow, which claimed, that person scarcely after satisfying physiological needs(food, drink, sleep) takes actions connected with higher needs: safety, love, membership, respect, self- realization needs and having targets in live, improving their appearance ( harmony, beauty ) and knowledge ( news ). Our project will change order. We will start from needs, which are on the top of Pyramid. Needs grouped by Maslow can give Freud’s conception: Id, Ego and Superego.

  1. ”Identity caught in frame” (photo workshops): beauty and harmony need (Przemek)
Participants will take photo each other (mixed pairs), whereby they will try to catch individual characteristic features of individual person. This photos will be used in creating “Needs and Dreams Board”.

  1. .”Who I am ?” (identity workshops); need to be someone, membership to group(Superego+Ego) Jakub
Through this workshops young people will can distinguishoriginal identity and this second. During this workshops participants will must choose one photo and be this person which is on the photo, create “second identity”. They will have special questionnaire with questions and they will must answer on this questions as this second person. After individual work, they will meet in small groups and discus who they are and which values are important for them. Finally, they will back to himselfes and relate their feelings and how many complexes and dreams was in this stories.

  1. Intercultural Evening (festival of flavors), each country will bring national food.

  2. City Game: “Multicultural traces in Murowana Goślina” (“Hipolit” class).
  3. “Needs and Dreams Boards” (creative artistic workshops): self-realization need (Superego), Dymitr
Young people to express their needs and dreams will do “Needs and Dreams Board”. They will choose the form of this board, material, and means of expression to show us their needs and reams from past(childhood), actual needs and dreams(future). Through “spirit of art” we will see, which need and dreams from childhood are fulfilled/are fulfilling and which one are waiting on their chance. Very interesting will be comparing this 28 different “Needs and Dreams Boars”. They create network connections, labyrinth, connected by some common needs and dreams.

  1. ”Benches of Needs and Dreams” (creative artistic workshops): Id+Ego+Superego, Dymitr
Next day of our project we will do two benches in park in Murowana Goślina. We will attach boxes of Needs and Dreams. We will ask people  to throw by four days cards with their needs and dreams. Penultimate day we will draw this cards and introduce this needs and dreams to commune councilors during Oxford debate.

  1.  “Homo religious in Poznań” (study visit in temples: catholic, protestant, orthodox and in synagogue, Ania
Our activities we will start from birth place of our county, where in X century appeared Polanie. OstrówTumski and Poznań Cathedral will be symbolical start of our journey. We will show our guest Poznań which in long history was a place where were many cultures. Just here in w XVIII/XIX century lived fomous rabbi Ekiva Eger, which was respectable not only by followers of their culture. His works are still study by religious Jews for which is one of the most important rabbis. We will go with stones on his grave. In Poznań we will visit protestant church, orthodox church and Jewish Community where we will meet Miss Alicja Kobus.

  1. ” This big and the smallest dreams” (balloons happening on Plac Wolności in Poznań), Gicia

  2. During happening will accompany us the “Fasolki” song “O czymmarządzieci” (“About what dreams children”). We will give the colored balloons to people to which everyone will add a piece of paper with dream. In high noon 400 balloons will fly to the sky. Symbolic, the dreams will be free and can be fulfill.

Young people will collect food in three supermarkets “Piotr I Paweł” for social care center indicated by Wielkopolski Bank Żywności.

Flavors of Orient, Mediterranean and polish kitchen will accompany culinary.

  1. ”Memory axis” (history workshops connected with pantomime), Tomek&Jakub
Through this workshops we will compare the Poles, Maltese, Georgians and Armenians ways to freedom. Without words participants will show contemporary needs and dreams their Finally effect will be comparison individual needs and dreams of participants with society needs and dreams.

  1. ”People’s Needs and Dreams” (oxford debate)
Polish and Georgian participants know oxford debate rules, so will be guides in this conversation way for their peers from Malta and Armenia. To this debate we will invite people and councilors from MurowanaGoślina.

Evaluation of the project and departure.

EVALUATION
Project evaluation process we will start on the very beginning his realization, when through the videoconference we will determine participant’s expectations, which we will observe during the project, and effects will be rated by auto evaluation in questionnaire. During the project will be preparing the photo-essay (photo+description), which will show three moments of project: before the project, during our actions and after the project. Evaluation will be conducted day by day. On the end of the day participants will express emotions connected with current day.
